The evening brought together local leaders, families, educators, artists, and youth for a vibrant celebration of culture, leadership, and purpose. From dynamic performances to heartfelt speeches, the gala served as a powerful reminder of the impact Tres Sueños Morados is making in the Merrimack Valley—and why its mission matters now more than ever.
About Tres Sueños Morados
Founded in 2023, the Tres Sueños Morados Foundation is a nonprofit organization rooted in the city of Lawrence and dedicated to helping middle school students from historically underserved communities access mentorship, professional development, and leadership opportunities. Its programs are specifically designed to support 7th- and 8th-grade students at a pivotal point in their growth—nurturing confidence, cultural identity, and long-term success.
The foundation is committed to helping young people envision a future filled with possibility, purpose, and pride.
The Founders
The foundation was established by three women, all raised in Lawrence and deeply committed to community transformation:
Anairis Gotay, MSM, BBA – A nonprofit strategist with a background in marketing, leadership, and youth programming.
Ashanna Del Rosario, LPN – A licensed nurse and community advocate who brings compassion and calm to every initiative.
Pamela Gotay, M.Ed., BCBA, LABA – A behavior analyst and educator who champions access, equity, and meaningful mentorship.
Together, they built a foundation rooted in purpose, resilience, and the belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
Gala Highlights
The 2nd Annual Gala was not just a fundraiser—it was a celebration of everything Tres Sueños Morados stands for: youth empowerment, cultural expression, and community connection. The evening included:
Live Performances: A high-energy musical performance by Change the Play featuring Lil D brought the room to life. Spoken word poetry, delivered by powerful voices, added emotion, authenticity, and perspective.
Youth Fashion Showcase: Students and interns participated in a runway presentation, using fashion as a form of self-expression and pride. Their presence served as a living reflection of the foundation’s mission.
Honoree Recognition: The foundation proudly recognized individuals and partners whose leadership and advocacy uplift the next generation:
Egbert Wetherborne – For decades of service and dedication to youth and community.
Senator Pavel Payano – For his tireless advocacy and commitment to educational equity.
Jeurys Santiago (Minds With Purpose) – For his mentorship and dedication to building future leaders.
Nixvelisse Andino & Catherine Casey (Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union) – For championing financial literacy and supporting youth career exposure.
Molly Roth & David Benoit (ACLU of Massachusetts) – For their work in advocacy, equity, and new partnerships with local schools.
Community Spirit: From interns helping behind the scenes to families sharing stories, the evening was filled with warmth, pride, and inspiration. Guests danced, connected, and left with a renewed commitment to investing in youth.
Looking Ahead
Funds raised from the gala will directly support free programs offered throughout the year—focused on leadership development, mentorship, academic support, and cultural enrichment for students across the Merrimack Valley. As the foundation grows, so does its vision: to create a lasting pipeline of strong, confident, and community-minded young leaders.
As the founders often say:
“When we plant seeds in our youth, we grow the future together.”
The 2nd Annual Gala was a beautiful reminder of that truth—and a powerful step forward.
